- The German Marketing Association (DMV) functions as the national office for the 66 existing regional marketing clubs throughout Germany. The marketing clubs manage the marketing issues launched by the DMV on a local basis and organize/present on a monthly basis reports, case studies and discussions on current hot topics in marketing. The DMV´s main goal is to support the actual marketing know-how to improve entrepreneurial success and Marketing-professionals performance.

Structure: 66 regional marketing clubs with 13.000 members. Members are business leaders, marketing executives (Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Marketing-oriented Executives), leaders of marketing consulting companies, advertising agencies, market research institutes, university professors in the field of marketing and young marketeers.
Staff: 5 in the national office, plus marketeers involved as an honorary chairmanship
>> Overview of the main activities
The German Marketing Association being the national office and representative of each regional marketing club provides information to the regional marketing clubs (internal communication, information/programme service and information of interest to junior members). Furthermore the DMV organises national events, congresses, working groups and general assemblies. These events aim at further education and informational exchange about topical developments and problems in marketing. Such annual events are: The German Marketing Congress, The German Brand Congress. Every year the DMV celebrates The German Marketing Award and the Scientific Award of the German Marketing Association. Lastly the DMV contacts new marketing clubs on the regional level to expand the marketing network in Germany.
